We took a trip to Switzerland to reunite with our Swiss “family” and visit with my parents and sister’s family. The trip took us to 7 countries (Japan-Switzerland-Liechtenstein-Italy-France-Germany-China) and several major world cities (Tokyo-Zürich-Paris-Beijing). We went over the top of the world past the North Pole to avoid Russia at the start and straight over St Petersburg and across the width of Russia at the end. It took us over mountain passes through blizzards and through deep tunnels on car trains to avoid them.
