The Triple Crown of Running is a series of races in Colorado Springs that is comprised of the Garden of the Gods 10 mile, the Summer Roundup Trail Race 12k, and the Pikes Peak Ascent (or the Ascent portion of the Pikes Peak Marathon). I have completed the series 3 times in the past and ran it the first time when I was 16, the first year that I was eligible to compete in the Pikes Peak Ascent. It is a nice series of runs and I hope to do it again someday when I manage to spend a summer at home again. . .
